Increasing Achievement, Options, and Engagement with Cable
At the 20th Annual National School Boards Association's Technology and Learning Conference in Dallas (NSBA T+L 2006), Cable in the Classroom's Senior Director of Education Policy, Douglas Levin, moderated a panel designed to showcase some of the innovative ways that the cable industry is extending its longstanding philanthropic commitment to education by providing broadband and telecommunications services to school districts.
The panel featured two presentations: one from Dr. Jon Campbell of Etowah County School District, Alabama and his cable provider, Julia North of Charter Business and the other from Terrence Clark of Bethpage School District, New York and his cable provider, Trent Anderson of Cablevision Systems.
Listen and learn more about these partnerships and the wide range of ways the cable industry is working hand in hand with educators to improve student achievement, educational options and student engagement.
